STRATAFIX™ MONOCRYL™ Synthetic Absorbable Suture, undyed, size 4-0, 12" length, with PS-2 needle, is a knotless, barbed suture designed for soft tissue approximation. Composed of a synthetic monofilament made from poliglecaprone 25, it features a spiral barbed structure that ensures even distribution of tension along the wound, reducing the need for knots and improving procedural efficiency.
The PS-2 needle, a precision reverse cutting needle, is engineered for use in delicate and superficial soft tissues. Its 3/8 circle shape and sharp cutting edge allow for smooth and controlled penetration, enhancing accuracy during closure. Integrated Plus antibacterial technology, incorporating triclosan, provides an additional defense against surgical site infections.
